Flashback Friday

(source)

Every girl dreams of the perfect wedding ring. We dream of the moment when our boy/man kneels and ask us to spend the rest of our lives together. Some people think buying a diamond ring is too materialistic, and that is OK, but for some that engagement ring is the symbol of something more. Last year I found my moms engagement ring and it was the most amazing thing I had seen. Little different, but pretty. This time, on this Flashback Friday I decided to post the exact thing I posted last year on the same day.

What is your dream ring?

  1. Wow. That is so feminine and lovely. I just recently lost my ring -it's been missing for 3 weeks and I'm pretty devastated about it... but hopeful too. :)

  7. Gorgeous. I like the wings on this ring. Mine was already given to me by my husband. Most people would think my ring is a bit old fashioned, but it's perfect to me.

  8. That ring is beautiful. My husband did not propose to me with a traditional diamond ring. He chose to give me a diamond necklace from Tiffany instead because I just wanted to wear a simple wedding band after I got married. This created a huge scandal among my more traditional family and friends who insisted that I have some sort of engagement ring. I ended up choosing a black diamond as my engagement ring to be different from everyone else.

  11. That ring is awesome! I'm not much for big jewels, so I always envisioned my ring being something small and simple. I don't even care if my ring has a diamond! As long as my sweetheart takes time to pick out something especially for me, I know I'll love it.

  20. I haven't got a ring yet, but my dream one would be a Protea ring by Browns, I suggest you look it up! Otherwise, a plain solitaire on a thin band would suffice :)

  21. I haven't given much thought to my perfect ring. all I know is that I want it to be made of white gold and I want at least three stores, one big and two small ones next to it...
