Weirdo Wearing Old Style Skates

Oslo has been hit by a strong wave of coldness the last couple of weeks. The sea is frozen and the seagulls can't go swimming in the sea anymore. The surroundings are really fairytale like here, and finally yesterday the freezing cold weather broke and we had lots and lots of snow falling. The view outside our window is like a post card. 

Me and husband decided to go ice skating at a place called Frogner Stadium down town in the city. Husband got his new skates to use, and I got to rent some really awesome blue ones because mine is still somewhere in my moms basement. Hah, I felt like that one weirdo wearing old style skates, but hey who cares I had the best time. The minute we were about to go out and do our thing, the man on the speaker made all people step aside for the machines to come and clean the ice. Just our luck. Our fun time was delayed for almost 30 minutes, but once we got on time just flew by. 

Husband fell a few times, I snapped some photos and our day ended at home with a hot cup of chocolate for us both with mini marshmallows. Yumness!
